“Look Forward Give Back” showcases innovative projects that engage diaspora members with their home countries. Diaspora members are increasingly being recognized as having a valuable role in society, contributing to the countries they live in and their countries of origin.

Taking place all over the globe, including Madagascar, Rwanda and South America, the projects demonstrate the different ways diaspora members engage with development initiatives including volunteering, community-building initiatives, and skill exchange programmes.

Creating a global diaspora community

Together, we can empower diasporas to contribute to development.

Help us provide other diaspora youths, professionals and organizations with the opportunity to partner with local communities in their countries of origin and work together to drive development forward.

Your contribution to the IOM Development Fund will help to empower and equip diasporas around the world to give back to their country of origin and replicate these programmes across the globe.
